Who We Are |
Beckwith Missionary Baptist is just a little country church in a bigger building. We started out spreading the Word of God in the mid-1950s, and we are still doing the same thing today, just in a bigger way! We welcome anyone and everyone who wants to worship with us, whether you've just moved here or been around for years!

What to Expect |
When you decide to visit Beckwith, you should expect to be greeted with a smile! We have a set worship schedule, but we do make alterations following the leadership of the Lord.
Our worship service begins with music, and we believe that the music portion of the service sets the tone; so pick up a songbook and feel free to open up and let 'er fly! Following the music, our pastor, Bro. Danny Tomlinson, will deliver the sermon, which will be brought from God's Word. At the end of the message, there will be an opportunity for anyone who feels the conviction of the Holy Spirit to come up to the altar and pray. After the invitation has been given, we offer a chance for testimonies, and then we dismiss through prayer! |
What to Wear |
Our services are about worshipping God, so what you wear isn't important. At Beckwith, you will see everything from a t-shirt and jeans to full suits, so wear whatever you feel comfortable wearing!

What social distancing protocols do you have in place?
In order to meet safely and worship together, we have put some social distancing measures in place.
Do you have a place for children? • We do have Sunday School classes for all ages, but during the worship service, we encourage everyone to stay in the sanctuary; however, we do have a nursery located in the back of the sanctuary and another one in the Fellowship Hall. What Sunday School classes are offered? • Our Sunday School and Wednesday Night classes are broken down into the following groups: Pre-K, K-3rd Grade, 4th & 5th Grade, Middle Schools, High School, Young Adult (Ages 18-30), and Adult. How can I join the church? • To join Beckwith, the first thing you need is an experience of salvation. After you have "a time and a place," as we say, set up a meeting with the pastor to talk about joining the church. You will have to stand up before the church and give your testimony, but it's a joyous occasion! There is always a handshake afterwards to welcome you! Have more questions that aren't addressed here?
